Day Tour from Fes to Volubulis - Meknes

We will pick you up after breakfast at your riad at 08:30 and drive to Meknes, the third Imperial City of Morocco. Meknes is known as " The Versailles of Morocco," for its elaborately decorated gateways. We will visit the Bab El Khamis and Bab El Mansour, two of the most beautiful gateways, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. We will have lunch here and then visit both the old and new Medina. Later on, we will head to the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. Afterward we will explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city dates from the third century BC and is amazingly well preserved, including several stunning mosaics. We will deliver you back to your hotel in Fes in the early evening around 17:00.

A small town in the Rif Mountains is lately getting so popular. Chefchaouen is famous with its blue color in town. It's a nice experience to walk around the medina to be a part of the fantasy world. Let's get on a Chefchaouen Day Trip from Fez with us!
1 - Departure from Fez to Chefchaouen : We'll pick you up from a hotel or riad in Fez in the morning.

3 - Walk around the town : You'll find a kasbah in the center of the town, built by Moulay Ismail of Meknes. Chefchaouen was once a fortress to fight against Europeans.

5 - Lunch: It'a good idea to go to the terrace of a restaurant in the kasbah square. You can enjoy the view of the town. This is a tajine, covered with French fries :-)
6 -Outside of medina : Medina is surrounded by stone walls and it has several gates. Its medieval atmosphere is something to see. Outside of medina, it's also blue. Many beautiful houses, worth walking around.
